Where children learn. Where germs spread. We clean.
Schools and nurseries are the highest-infection-rate environments outside of healthcare — and the cleaning protocol has to be equally rigorous, but with child-safe chemistry. Our education-standard service uses EN 14476 virucidal disinfectants on touchpoints, EN 1276 bactericidal sanitisers on hard surfaces, and HSE-approved products only. Staff are PVG-checked, infection-control trained, and learn your site's specific safeguarding protocols.

More than just a tidy-up.
A genuine baseline reset for your home, delivered by people who actually know it.
Cleaning a nursery or primary school presents a paradox: the surfaces need to be disinfected to a high standard (because children's immune systems are still developing and infection spreads rapidly in close-contact environments), but the chemistry used must be child-safe — no chlorine fumes, no quaternary-ammonium residue on toys that go in mouths, no volatile organic compounds that aggravate childhood asthma. Our education-standard protocol threads this needle by using HSE-approved products with verified child-safe profiles, applied at the right dilution, with appropriate contact time, then rinsed or dried before children return.
Nursery cleaning is particularly specialised. Soft toys, fabric books, sand and water play trays, sensory play items, and dressing-up costumes all need regular sanitisation that can't be done with a spray-and-wipe. We use a combination of steam sanitisation (180°C dry steam on soft toys and play mats), hot-water extraction (for fabric items), and UV-C cabinet treatment (for electronics and books). Hard toys are washed in a food-safe sanitiser at 50°C, rinsed with potable water, and air-dried. The process is documented in your safeguarding file for inspection by the Care Inspectorate.
For primary and secondary schools, the protocol shifts toward infection-control at scale. Touchpoint disinfection (door handles, banisters, taps, flush handles, light switches, IT equipment) becomes the priority — these are the surfaces that drive 80% of infection transmission in schools. We deploy a dedicated team during the school day for high-traffic touchpoint refreshes, plus a full team after school hours for the deep clean. ATP swab verification on random touchpoints is logged to your client portal — useful for parent communication during flu season and for HMI/Education Scotland inspections.
Every visit, room by room.
A baseline reset of your home's high-traffic zones — refined after the first three cleans to match your priorities.
Classroom daily reset
Desks wiped with child-safe sanitiser, chairs stacked and wiped, IT equipment (keyboards, mice, tablets, smartboard) disinfected, whiteboard cleaned, floors swept and mopped, sink area sanitised, and any soft-furnishings spot-cleaned. Done before children arrive.
Touchpoint disinfection
Door handles, push plates, light switches, banisters, toilet flushes, tap handles, water-fountain buttons, hand-sanitiser dispenser nozzles, and IT-room headphones — disinfected every 2 hours during the school day with HSE-approved EN 14476 virucidal wipes. The single biggest infection-control lever.
Nursery soft-toy sanitisation
Soft toys, dressing-up clothes, fabric books, and soft-furnishings sanitised weekly via 180°C dry steam (kills dust mites, bacteria, and viruses without saturating the fabric). Hard toys washed in 50°C food-safe sanitiser, rinsed with potable water, air-dried. Documented for Care Inspectorate inspection.
Washroom & changing-area hygiene
All toilets, sinks, partitions, and changing tables fully sanitised. Nappy-changing stations disinfected between every use with HSE-approved chemistry. Floor mopped with slip-resistant sanitiser. Paper-towel, soap, and sanitary-bin consumables restocked every visit. Bin liners changed; bins sanitised.
Hall, dining & sports areas
Dining hall tables disinfected between sittings (3x daily in primary, 4x daily in secondary), sports hall floors swept and damp-mopped, changing-room benches sanitised, and shower drains enzymatically treated weekly. PE equipment (mats, balls, benches) wiped down at end of each day.
Inspection-ready documentation
Every visit logged with crew, time, products (with batch numbers), and any safeguarding issues flagged immediately to the head teacher. ATP swab results uploaded to your client portal. Monthly compliance pack aligned to Care Inspectorate (nursery) or Education Scotland (school) standards — ready to hand to inspectors on demand.
Add-ons available on any visit: oven cleaning, fridge clean-out, inside cabinets, laundry folding, ironing, pet area sanitisation, window interiors, and more — all bookable from your client portal.
