Laundry sorted per fabric type and colour: whites, lights, darks, delicates, bedding, towels, woollens. Each load washed per the care label temperature (30°C for darks and colours, 40°C for whites and bedding, 30°C gentle for delicates, cold wash for woollens). Spin speed adjusted per fabric (high for towels, low for delicates, medium for bedding). Dried per care label: tumble dry (where allowed), air dry (where not — shirts on hangers, woollens flat, bedding on the line if weather permits). We never mix your laundry with anyone else's. We never wash dry-clean-only items (we'll flag them for the dry cleaner).

Ironing per your preference. 'Everything' — every item ironed, including t-shirts and pyjamas. 'Just workwear' — shirts, blouses, trousers, skirts ironed; casual wear folded. 'Just bedding' — sheets and pillowcases ironed; clothes folded. 'Nothing' — everything folded or hung unironed (some clients prefer this — air-dried clothes rarely need ironing). Iron temperature per fabric (linen on high, cotton on medium-high, synthetics on low). Steam iron for stubborn creases. Spray bottle for crisp shirts. Shirts ironed in sections (collar, cuffs, yoke, body, sleeves). Bedding ironed folded. We never iron prints or embellishments (turn inside out first).

Folding per the Marie Kondo method where it suits your storage. T-shirts and tops folded into rectangles that stand upright in drawers (so you can see every item at a glance). Jeans and trousers folded into thirds. Socks folded (not balled — balled socks lose elasticity). Underwear folded flat. Towels folded into thirds, stacked edges-aligned. Bedding folded (fitted sheets folded into neat rectangles — yes, it's possible). Pyjamas folded. Children's clothes folded smaller. Items that wrinkle easily (linen shirts) hung on hangers rather than folded. Storage-friendly folding that makes your drawers and shelves look organised.

Laundry put away per your storage. Drawers: items placed upright (Marie Kondo-style) so you can see everything. Shelves: stacked edges-aligned, heaviest at the bottom. Wardrobes: shirts and blouses on hangers (we supply hangers if needed, £1 each), spaced evenly, colours grouped (light to dark). Hooks (if you use them for towels or dressing gowns): items hung evenly. Children's rooms: items put away at child height. Bedroom: laundry baskets emptied and returned to their place. Bed linen change and bed remaking. Old sheets stripped, pillowcases removed, duvet cover removed. Mattress protector removed (if you have one) and replaced with a fresh one. Fresh fitted sheet applied (we'll show you the hospital corner technique). Fresh duvet cover applied (the 'inside-out roll' method — no shaking). Fresh pillowcases applied. Duvet and pillows fluffed. Bed smoothed. Cushions and throws replaced (per your preferences). Mattress rotated (if you have a double-sided mattress — should be done every 3-6 months to extend mattress life). The fresh-bed feeling is genuinely restful — you'll sleep better.

Towels: bath towels, hand towels, face cloths washed on hot (60°C) for hygiene, tumble dried (where care label allows) or air dried, folded into thirds, stacked edges-aligned. Bath mat washed separately (heavy soil). Kitchen linen: tea towels, dish cloths, oven gloves washed on hot (60°C) for hygiene, tumble dried or air dried, folded. Delicates: underwear, bras, silk, lace washed on a 30°C delicate cycle in a mesh bag (we supply mesh bags if needed, £2 each), air dried (never tumble), folded or laid flat. Woollens: hand-wash cycle or wool cycle with wool-safe detergent, laid flat to dry (never tumble or hang — woollens stretch).
