Open the pantry. Find what you need. Every time.
A disorganised pantry wastes money (you buy duplicates because you can't see what you have), wastes food (expired tins lurk at the back), and wastes time (5 minutes hunting for the paprika). Our pantry organisation add-on transforms your pantry into a Pinterest-board, professional-kitchen-functional space. Decant dry goods into matching jars. Group by cuisine or function. Label everything. Zone the pantry (baking, cooking, snacks, breakfast, spices). Date-rotate tins and jars. We supply the jars, labels, and bins — or use yours. PVG-checked crew, food-safety trained, £5m liability.

More than just a tidy-up.
A genuine baseline reset for your home, delivered by people who actually know it.
A disorganised pantry is a quiet drain on your household. You buy duplicates because you can't see what you have (the average UK household wastes £700 of food a year, much of it pantry duplicates). You waste food because expired tins lurk at the back. You waste time hunting for the paprika, the baking soda, the kids' snacks. You over-buy because the pantry looks full but is actually full of empty crisp packets and half-used pasta bags. A well-organised pantry fixes all of this — and looks beautiful. Our pantry organisation add-on transforms your pantry from a chaos of half-opened packets into a Pinterest-board, professional-kitchen-functional space where everything has a place and you can see at a glance what you have.
Our pantry organisation protocol follows professional kitchen principles. Decant: dry goods (flour, sugar, pasta, rice, cereals, pulses, nuts, seeds) decanted from packets into matching glass or plastic jars (we supply jars, or use yours). Group: items grouped by function (baking, cooking, snacks, breakfast, spices, beverages) or by cuisine (Italian, Indian, Mexican, British) — your preference. Label: every jar labelled with contents and date (we use a label maker — clean, professional, removable). Zone: pantry zoned so the most-used items are at eye level, least-used at the top, heavy items at the bottom. Date-rotate: tins and jars date-rotated (FIFO — first in, first out), expired items flagged for your decision. Bins: snacks in bins (so the kids can see what's available), packets in bins (so they don't fall over).
This is the perfect add-on after a kitchen renovation (start fresh with a new pantry), before a new baby (meal prep will be easier with an organised pantry), for new homeowners (set up the pantry properly from day one), for families with allergies (zone the pantry so allergen-free items are clearly separated), and for anyone who has just had enough of the chaos. Add it as a one-off (typically 3-5 hours, depending on pantry size), or book alongside a recurring clean (annual pantry refresh). We supply jars (Kilner or IKEA, depending on your budget), labels (label maker with removable labels), bins (clear acrylic or natural seagrass), and a Sharpie for date-labelling. PVG-checked crew, food-safety trained, £5m public liability, 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Every visit, room by room.
A baseline reset of your home's high-traffic zones — refined after the first three cleans to match your priorities.
Decant dry goods into matching jars
Dry goods (flour, sugar, pasta, rice, cereals, pulses, nuts, seeds, spices, coffee, tea) decanted from packets into matching jars. We supply Kilner glass jars (£3-£8 each depending on size) or IKEA plastic jars (£1-£3 each) — or use your own jars if you have a collection. Each jar filled, wiped clean, lid secured. Decanting serves three purposes: it keeps food fresh longer (airtight jar vs half-opened packet), it lets you see what you have at a glance (no more 'do I have flour?' — you can see it), and it looks beautiful (matching jars are a Pinterest-board finish). Average pantry needs 20-40 jars.
Group by function or cuisine
Items grouped by function (baking, cooking, snacks, breakfast, spices, beverages, tins, packets) OR by cuisine (Italian, Indian, Mexican, British, Chinese) — your preference. Most clients prefer function (it matches how they cook). Baking zone: flour, sugar, baking powder, bicarb, vanilla, chocolate chips. Cooking zone: oils, vinegars, soy sauce, stock cubes, pastes. Spices zone: alphabetised or by cuisine. Snacks zone: at child height if you want kids to access, or adult height if you don't. Breakfast zone: cereals, porridge, jam, honey. Grouping means you can find what you need in seconds, not minutes.
Label everything — clean, professional, removable
Every jar labelled with contents (e.g. 'Plain Flour', 'Caster Sugar', 'Red Lentils') and date (e.g. 'Dec 2024'). We use a label maker (Brother P-Touch) with removable labels — clean, professional, doesn't leave sticky residue when you change the contents. Labels on the front of the jar (so you can read them when the jar is on the shelf), aligned at the same height. Bins labelled too ('Snacks', 'Packets', 'Baking Mixes'). Shelf edges labelled (optional — some clients love this, others find it too restaurant-kitchen). Date rotation labels on tins (small label on the lid with the expiry date). Everything labelled — no mystery jars.
Zone the pantry — eye-level ergonomics
Pantry zoned per ergonomic principles. Eye-level (most accessible): most-used items (cooking oils, everyday spices, pasta, rice, cereals). Waist-level: heavy items (tins, jars of preserves, large bottles). High shelves (least accessible): least-used items (specialty baking, party supplies, seasonal items like Christmas mincemeat). Low shelves (bending required): bulk items, large containers. Child-height (if you want kids to access their snacks): snacks bin at child height. Allergen zone (if applicable): allergen-free items on a separate shelf, clearly labelled, to prevent cross-contamination. The zoning saves your back and saves time.
Date-rotate tins & jars — FIFO
Tins and jars date-rotated using FIFO (First In, First Out) — the same system used in professional kitchens. Newer items at the back, older items at the front. Expiry dates checked — anything past its best flagged for your decision (we don't dispose of food, you decide). Most pantries have 5-15 expired items lurking — finding them is genuinely useful. Tins and jars grouped by type (tomatoes with tomatoes, beans with beans, soups with soups) so you can see what you have. Date labels on the lid (small label, expiry month/year) so you can see at a glance what needs using. FIFO reduces food waste — and saves money.
Bins for snacks, packets & awkward items
Bins (clear acrylic or natural seagrass — your preference) for items that don't stack neatly. Snacks bin (crisps, biscuits, cereal bars — at child height if kids access, adult height if not). Packets bin (half-used pasta packets, rice packets, packet mixes — keeps them from falling over). Baking mixes bin (packet cake mixes, bread mixes). Sachets bin (stock cubes, sauce sachets, ketchup sachets). Spice packet bin (if you don't have a spice rack). Bins keep the pantry looking tidy and make it easy to find what you need. Clear acrylic bins (£5-£10 each) let you see what's inside. Natural seagrass bins (£8-£15 each) add warmth and texture. Average pantry needs 4-8 bins.
Add-ons available on any visit: oven cleaning, fridge clean-out, inside cabinets, laundry folding, ironing, pet area sanitisation, window interiors, and more — all bookable from your client portal.

Consultation & inventory
Pre-booking consultation by phone or in person: pantry size, current pain points, your cooking style, dietary requirements (allergies, preferences), budget for jars and bins. We'll suggest a plan: number of jars, number of bins, labelling style, zoning preference. You decide what to supply (some clients have their own jars) and what we supply. Booking confirmed, jars and bins ordered (we supply at cost price + 10% handling). Pre-visit reminder sent 24 hours before.
Crew arrives & pantry empty
Crew arrives at the scheduled time. Pantry emptied onto a clean tarpaulin on the kitchen table (or counters). Every item wiped (sticky jars, dusty tins). Expiry dates checked (we'll flag anything past its best). Items sorted into temporary groups (baking, cooking, snacks, etc.) on the tarpaulin. Pantry shelves wiped clean (low-VOC, food-safe chemistry). Shelf liner refreshed if you supply it. Jars and bins laid out ready for filling. The empty pantry is the start of the transformation.
Decant, label, zone, rotate, bin
Crew works through the pantry: dry goods decanted into jars, jars labelled with contents and date. Items grouped by function (or cuisine) per your preference. Pantry zoned per ergonomic principles (eye-level most-used, heavy at waist, least-used at top). Tins and jars date-rotated FIFO. Bins placed for snacks, packets, and awkward items. Shelf edges labelled if you want. Items placed back in zones. The whole process takes 2-4 hours depending on pantry size.
Walk-through & maintenance guide
Crew lead walks you through the organised pantry. Every zone explained. Every label visible. Expiry list handed over (you decide what to bin). Photo summary uploaded to your client portal. Maintenance guide provided (how to keep the pantry organised: decant new items into the right jar, replace labels when contents change, date-rotate when you shop). 100% satisfaction guarantee — if you want anything changed within 48 hours, we'll come back and re-organise it free. Annual refresh recommended.

Pinterest-board finish — beautiful AND functional
Matching jars, clean labels, zoned shelves, tidy bins — a pantry that looks like a Pinterest board. But beauty is only half of it — the zoning, labelling, and decanting also make the pantry genuinely functional. You can see at a glance what you have (no more 'do I have flour?'). You can find what you need in seconds (no more 5-minute paprika hunts). You can tell when you're running low (clear jars show the level). The combination of beauty and function is what makes a well-organised pantry so satisfying. Most clients are genuinely surprised how good their pantry can look.
Saves money — no more duplicate buying
The average UK household wastes £700 of food a year, much of it pantry duplicates bought because you can't see what you have. A well-organised pantry fixes this. Clear jars show what you have at a glance. FIFO date rotation means older items get used before they expire. Grouping means you can see you have 3 tins of chopped tomatoes (no need to buy more). Labelling means you don't open a packet, realise it's not what you thought, and waste it. Most clients save the cost of the organisation service within 6 months — and keep saving every month after.
Saves time — find what you need in seconds
The average UK adult spends 5 minutes a day hunting for items in their kitchen — that's 30 hours a year, almost a full working week. A well-organised pantry cuts that to seconds. Zoned by function (baking zone, cooking zone, spices zone). Labelled clearly (no mystery jars). Eye-level ergonomics (most-used items most accessible). Date-rotated FIFO (no hunting for the newest tin). Decanted into clear jars (see the level at a glance). The time saving is real — most clients notice immediately how much faster meal prep becomes.
Food stays fresh longer
Decanting dry goods into airtight jars keeps them fresh longer than half-opened packets. Flour: 6-8 months in a jar vs 3-4 months in a packet. Rice: 2+ years in a jar vs 1 year in a packet. Cereals: 2-3 weeks in a jar vs 1 week in a packet (cereals go stale fast once opened). Coffee beans: 4 weeks in an airtight jar vs 1 week in the bag. Nuts and seeds: 6 months in a jar vs 3 months in a packet (and they go rancid faster in packets due to light exposure). Less food waste, less money wasted, better-tasting food. The jars pay for themselves in saved food.
Allergen zoning — safety for allergy families
For families with allergies, pantry organisation is a safety issue. We zone the pantry so allergen-free items are clearly separated (separate shelf, clearly labelled, often in a different coloured bin). Nut-free zone for nut-allergy families. Gluten-free zone for coeliac families. Dairy-free zone for dairy-allergy families. Cross-contamination prevented by physical separation. Labels clearly mark the allergen-free zones. This is genuinely important — a single misplaced packet of peanut-containing cereal in a nut-allergy home can be a serious risk. We take allergy zoning seriously — your family's safety depends on it.

Nut-containing items (for the rest of the family) in a separate zone, also labelled. Cross-contamination prevented. We can finally relax about the pantry. Allergen-awareness trained crew. £88 well spent for the safety alone.”
