Hotel bed, every week.
Changing bed linen is one of those weekly tasks that takes longer than it should — strip, sort, wash, dry, iron (or not), re-make. Our bedding change service does the whole cycle in one visit: strip the bed, sort the linen, wash at 60°C (kills dust mites), dry, fold or iron, and re-make with crisp hospital corners. Hotel-standard linen change in your own home.

More than just a tidy-up.
A genuine baseline reset for your home, delivered by people who actually know it.
Bedding change is one of the most popular add-ons we offer — particularly with busy professionals, new parents, people with mobility issues, and clients recovering from illness or surgery. The task sounds trivial but takes 90+ minutes per bed when you factor in stripping, sorting stains, washing at the right temperature, drying, folding or ironing, and re-making with proper tension. Multiply by 3-4 beds in a family home and it's a half-day's work that most people put off — and end up sleeping on sheets that should have been changed a week ago.
Our bedding change service is hotel-standard. We wash at 60°C (the temperature at which dust mites die — 30°C and 40°C washes leave them alive and breeding). We use a non-biological detergent as standard (kinder to skin) with a biological detergent option for stubborn stains. We separate whites, colours, and darks. We sort stained items for pre-treatment. We dry according to the care label (tumble dry low for cotton, line dry for linen, flat dry for wool). And we re-make the bed with proper tension — hospital corners, duvet aligned, pillows fluffed and arranged.
We work with your existing linen (we don't supply sheets — most clients prefer their own). If you have a linen rotation (two or three sets per bed, rotated weekly), we'll manage the rotation — bringing the fresh set from the airing cupboard and taking the dirty set to the laundry. If you don't have a rotation, we'll wash, dry, and re-make with the same set — but we recommend a minimum of two sets per bed so we can leave a fresh set while the washed set dries.
Every visit, room by room.
A baseline reset of your home's high-traffic zones — refined after the first three cleans to match your priorities.
Strip & sort
Bed stripped — duvet cover, fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillowcases, mattress protector. Stained items identified and pre-treated with a stain remover. Whites, colours, and darks separated. Mattress protector and pillows assessed — we don't wash these every change, but we'll flag when they need it.
60°C wash with non-bio detergent
Bed linen washed at 60°C — the temperature at which dust mites die. Non-biological detergent as standard (kinder to skin, suitable for babies and eczema sufferers). Biological detergent option for stain removal. Softener only if requested — we don't use it as standard (it reduces towel absorbency and can irritate skin).
Dry according to care label
Cotton and polycotton — tumble dry low or line dry. Linen — line dry only (tumble drying shrinks linen). Wool blankets — flat dry (never tumble). Silk pillowcases — line dry away from sunlight. We follow the care label. If the care label is missing, we default to the gentlest method.
Iron or fold
Ironing optional. Duvet covers and flat sheets ironed if requested (gives a hotel-crisp finish). Fitted sheets folded (ironing a fitted sheet is a fool's errand). Pillowcases ironed. We use a steam iron and ironing board — no spray-on starch (causes skin irritation and reduces fabric life).
Re-make with hospital corners
Bed re-made with proper tension. Fitted sheet secured at all four corners. Flat sheet (if used) tucked with hospital corners. Duvet inserted and aligned (the buttons/facing at the closed end). Pillows fluffed and arranged — sleeping pillows at the back, shams at the front if you have them.
Mattress & pillow care
Mattress vacuumed with a HEPA-filtered UV-C vacuum (kills surface bacteria and removes dust mites and skin cells). Mattress rotated 180° (extends life — most mattresses should be rotated every 3-6 months). Pillows aired. Mattress protector and pillow protectors washed every 4 weeks (more frequently in allergy households).
Add-ons available on any visit: oven cleaning, fridge clean-out, inside cabinets, laundry folding, ironing, pet area sanitisation, window interiors, and more — all bookable from your client portal.

The standards that earned 6,200 five-star reviews.
Six commitments we make to every recurring client — written into your service agreement, not just our marketing.
60°C dust mite kill
Bed linen washed at 60°C — the temperature at which dust mites die. 30°C and 40°C washes leave them alive and breeding. Significant benefit to allergy and asthma sufferers. The single biggest improvement you can make to bedroom air quality.
Non-bio detergent as standard
Non-biological detergent as standard — kinder to skin, suitable for babies, eczema sufferers, and sensitive skin. Biological detergent available for stain removal. No fabric softener as standard (reduces towel absorbency and can irritate skin).
Hospital corners, proper tension
Bed re-made with proper tension. Fitted sheet secured at all four corners. Flat sheet tucked with hospital corners. Duvet aligned. Pillows fluffed. Hotel-standard finish — the kind of bed you want to dive into.
Full cycle in one visit
Strip, wash, dry, finish, re-make — all in one visit. Total time per bed is 3-4 hours including the wash cycle. For a 3-bed house, we'll often start the first wash as we strip the first bed, so by the time we've stripped all beds the first load is ready to dry.
Mattress & pillow care
Mattress vacuumed with HEPA UV-C vacuum (kills surface bacteria, removes dust mites and skin cells). Mattress rotated 180° (extends life — most mattresses should be rotated every 3-6 months). Pillows aired. Mattress protector washed every 4 weeks.
Linen rotation managed
If you have a linen rotation (two or three sets per bed, rotated weekly), we'll manage the rotation — bringing the fresh set from the airing cupboard and taking the dirty set to the laundry. If you don't have a rotation, we recommend a minimum of two sets per bed.

Loved by Scottish households.
“Two busy professionals, no time for laundry. Maundy Clean come in every Tuesday while we're at work — strip the bed, wash at 60°C, dry, re-make with hospital corners. Come home to a hotel bed every week. £25 well spent. They even rotate the spare bed linen from the airing cupboard.”
“Severe dust mite allergy. Maundy Clean wash at 60°C (which kills the mites), vacuum the mattress with a UV-C HEPA machine, rotate the mattress, and wash the protector every 4 weeks. My allergy symptoms have dramatically improved since starting the service. Life-changing for me.”
“New baby, sleep deprivation, zero energy for laundry. Maundy Clean come weekly and change all three beds (ours, the toddler's, the baby's cot). They sort the breastmilk and poo stains from the regular linen and pre-treat appropriately. The cot sheet is always fresh. Lifesaver in the first 6 months.”
