Graffiti gone. Fast. Effectively. Surface-safe.

Graffiti is a fact of life for Scottish commercial property — particularly in urban areas (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee) and on transport infrastructure (bridges, underpasses, station approaches). The faster graffiti is removed, the easier it is to remove and the less likely it is to be repeated (the 'broken windows' effect in reverse). Our graffiti removal service handles any surface, any paint type, with the right products and the right technique — fast response, surface-safe, fully documented.

What this service is

More than just a tidy-up.

A genuine baseline reset for your home, delivered by people who actually know it.

Graffiti is more than an eyesore — it's a signal. Untreated graffiti attracts more graffiti (the 'broken windows' effect), it discourages customers and visitors, it affects property values, and it can be a sign of wider anti-social behaviour in the area. The good news is that graffiti removal is one of the most effective interventions a property owner can make — fast removal (within 24-48 hours) is proven to reduce repeat graffiti by up to 80%. We offer rapid-response graffiti removal across Scotland, 7 days a week, with the right products and technique for every surface.

Our graffiti removal service covers every common surface. Brick (sandstone, red brick, engineering brick — each needs a different approach). Stone (granite, limestone, sandstone — porous surfaces that absorb paint). Render (smooth render, roughcast, pebbledash — delicate surfaces easily damaged). Metal (painted metal, bare metal, powder-coated metal — solvents can damage some coatings). Glass (spray paint, etched graffiti — different approaches for each). Wood (painted wood, bare wood, treated wood). Plastic (uPVC, polycarbonate — solvents can melt some plastics). Concrete (smooth concrete, exposed aggregate). We assess the surface, the paint type, and the location before recommending the right approach.

What sets us apart is surface-safe technique. Many graffiti removal companies use aggressive chemical strippers that damage the underlying surface (etch stone, discolour render, melt plastic). We use surface-specific products: gel strippers for vertical surfaces (don't run, longer dwell time), poultice strippers for porous stone (draws paint out of the pores), low-pressure wash for sensitive surfaces (never high-pressure on sandstone — it damages the face), specialist solvents for metal and glass (chosen for coating compatibility). We also offer anti-graffiti coatings (sacrificial and non-sacrificial) — applied after removal, these make future graffiti easier and cheaper to remove. We carry £5m public liability. We're experienced working with local authorities, transport operators, private landlords, factors, and individual business owners.

What's included

Every visit, room by room.

A baseline reset of your home's high-traffic zones — refined after the first three cleans to match your priorities.

Surface & paint assessment — right product, right technique

Before any removal, we assess the surface (brick, stone, render, metal, glass, wood, plastic, concrete — each needs a different approach), the paint type (spray paint, marker pen, oil-based, water-based, etched), the location (public-facing, hidden, high-traffic), and any sensitivities (listed building, conservation area, delicate adjoining surfaces). We then recommend the right product and technique — gel stripper, poultice stripper, solvent, low-pressure wash, or combination. We discuss the likely result (some marks may leave a 'shadow' on porous surfaces — we'll be honest about this).

Brick & stone — gel and poultice strippers

Brick and stone (sandstone, granite, limestone) are porous — paint absorbs into the surface. We use gel strippers (which cling to vertical surfaces and have a longer dwell time than liquid strippers) for surface paint. For absorbed paint, we use poultice strippers (a paste that's applied, covered, and left to draw the paint out of the pores over 24-48 hours). We don't use high-pressure washing on sandstone (it damages the face of the stone). Low-pressure wash for rinse. Multiple applications may be needed for stubborn paint.

Render, pebbledash & painted surfaces

Render and painted surfaces are easily damaged by aggressive strippers. We use mild, surface-safe strippers (often based on soy or citrus solvents rather than aggressive chemicals) and test on a small area first. The underlying paint colour may be affected (we'll flag this and discuss options — sometimes a small repaint is needed). Pebbledash is particularly challenging (the paint sits between the pebbles) — we use low-pressure wash with mild stripper, and we accept that 100% removal may not be possible on pebbledash. We're honest about expected results.

Metal, glass & plastic — coating-aware

Metal, glass, and plastic need solvent-based removal — but the solvent must be compatible with the underlying coating. We assess the surface (painted metal, powder-coated metal, bare metal; tinted glass, toughened glass, coated glass; uPVC, polycarbonate) and choose a solvent that removes the graffiti without damaging the underlying surface. Some plastics (polycarbonate, in particular) are melted by common solvents — we use specialist plastic-safe products. For etched glass graffiti (scratched into the glass), we can polish out light etching (quoted separately) — deep etching may require glass replacement.

Anti-graffiti coatings — sacrificial & non-sacrificial

After removal, we can apply anti-graffiti coatings to make future graffiti easier and cheaper to remove. Sacrificial coatings (typically wax-based) — a clear coating that takes the graffiti, then is removed (with the graffiti) using hot water. The coating then needs reapplication. Cheaper upfront, ongoing reapplication cost. Non-sacrificial coatings (typically polyurethane) — a permanent clear coating that graffiti cannot bond to. Graffiti is removed with a simple solvent wipe. More expensive upfront, no ongoing reapplication. We'll recommend the right option for your surface and risk profile.

Rapid response, 7 days, fully documented

Rapid response — typically same-day or next-day for callouts before noon. 7 days a week (including weekends — graffiti often happens on Friday/Saturday nights). We carry £5m public liability. We're experienced working with local authorities (we have frameworks with several Scottish councils), transport operators (Network Rail, ScotRail, bus operators), private landlords, factors, and individual business owners. Fully documented — before and after photos, product data sheets, COSHH documentation, waste transfer notes (where applicable). Suitable for insurance claims.

Add-ons available on any visit: oven cleaning, fridge clean-out, inside cabinets, laundry folding, ironing, pet area sanitisation, window interiors, and more — all bookable from your client portal.
