The garage isn't a skip. Time to fix it.
Garages accumulate everything the house can't hold — broken bikes, half-used paint tins, cobwebbed tools, oil-stained concrete, gardening chemicals, last year's Christmas decorations, and a layer of dust over everything. Our garage cleaning add-on takes the floor back to bare concrete (degrease, scrub, squeegee), wipes down every shelf and workbench, degreases tools, cleans the garage door tracks, and removes the cobwebs from every corner. You'll be able to park the car in there again — or finally set up that workshop. PVG-checked crew, EN 14476 virucidal chemistry, £5m liability.

More than just a tidy-up.
A genuine baseline reset for your home, delivered by people who actually know it.
Garages are Scotland's most under-cleaned room. They start as a place to park the car, then become a dumping ground for everything the house can't hold — broken bikes, half-used paint tins, gardening chemicals, last year's Christmas decorations, the kids' old toys, the spare fridge, the chest freezer, the DIY project that never got finished. The concrete floor accumulates oil stains from the car, tyre marks, spilled antifreeze, and a layer of dust that turns to mud when damp. Cobwebs colonise every corner. Tools rust on the workbench. The garage becomes a space you walk through quickly, not a space you use.
Our garage cleaning add-on takes the garage back to workspace condition. Floor: swept, HEPA-vacuumed, degreased with alkaline chemistry (oil stains, tyre marks, antifreeze), scrubbed with a deck brush, squeegee-dried. Shelves and workbench: emptied one at a time, wiped with low-VOC chemistry, items wiped before replacement. Tools: degreased with solvent-based chemistry, wiped dry, light oil applied to carbon steel to prevent rust. Garage door tracks: vacuumed, wiped, lubricated. Cobwebs: removed from every corner, ceiling, light fixture. Windows (if any): cleaned streak-free. The whole add-on takes 2-4 hours depending on garage size and condition.
This is the perfect pre-winter refresh (October/November — get the garage sealed and dry before the salt and damp arrive) or pre-spring refresh (March/April — clear out the winter accumulation and set up for gardening season). It's also ideal before a house sale (a clean garage adds visible value) or after a house move (you don't want to inherit someone else's garage grime). Add it to a deep clean, spring clean, or book as a standalone service. We bring everything — degreasers, solvents, deck brush, squeegee, HEPA vacuum, microfibre cloths, disposal bags. You just open the garage door. PVG-checked crew, PAYE-employed, £5m public liability, 100% re-clean guarantee.
Every visit, room by room.
A baseline reset of your home's high-traffic zones — refined after the first three cleans to match your priorities.
Concrete floor degrease & scrub
Garage floor swept, HEPA-vacuumed (removes fine dust that mopping just spreads), then degreased with alkaline chemistry. Oil stains from car (typically near the engine bay and where wheels sit) pre-treated with concentrated degreaser, contact time 10-15 minutes, agitated with a deck brush. Tyre marks agitated. Antifreeze stains treated with absorbent granules first, then degreased. Whole floor scrubbed with deck brush and degreaser solution. Squeegee-dried to floor drain (if present) or out the garage door. Result: floor visibly cleaner, oil stains reduced or eliminated, slip risk reduced.
Shelf & workbench wipe-down
Shelves and workbench emptied one at a time, items placed on a clean tarpaulin. Shelf surfaces wiped with low-VOC chemistry (removes dust, grease, and grime). Underside of shelves (cobweb zone) wiped. Workbench top degreased (solvent-based chemistry for oil and grease, alkaline for general grime). Workbench drawers emptied, wiped, replaced. Pegboard wiped (front and back where accessible). Items wiped before replacement (greasy tools, dusty paint tins, gardening chemical bottles). Items grouped logically (tools with tools, paint with paint, gardening with gardening).
Tool degrease & rust-prevent
Hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers) degreased with solvent-based chemistry, wiped dry, light coating of food-safe oil applied to carbon steel to prevent rust. Power tool exteriors wiped (never spray liquid near vents or motors — damp cloth only). Power tool cords wiped, inspected for damage (we'll flag any frayed cord — electrical risk). Tool chest drawers emptied, wiped, replaced. Tool chest exterior wiped and polished. Gardening tools (spades, forks, secateurs) cleaned of soil, blades wiped with oily cloth to prevent rust. Bicycles wiped down (frame, chain lightly re-lubed if requested).
Garage door track clean & lubricate
Garage door tracks (the metal channels the door rolls in) vacuumed with a soft brush attachment — dust and debris in tracks causes jerky door operation. Tracks wiped with dry cloth. Rollers wiped. Hinges wiped. Light silicone-based lubricant applied to rollers and hinges (not oil — oil attracts dust and goes tacky). Torsion spring (above the door) inspected — we'll flag any visible wear but never touch the spring itself (torsion springs are under extreme tension and only a qualified garage door engineer should adjust them). Manual up-and-over door mechanism wiped. Electric door opener exterior wiped (never touch the electrics).
Cobweb removal & corner detail
Cobwebs removed from every corner, ceiling, light fixture, top of shelves, behind stored items. We use a telescopic cobweb brush (extends to 4m) for high corners. Ceiling wiped where accessible (especially around light fixtures — fly and moth debris accumulates). Light fixtures wiped (switch off at the consumer unit first — never clean a live light fixture). Window (if present) cleaned streak-free — inside and outside where accessible. Window sills wiped. Air vents (if present) vacuumed and wiped. The corners are where the spiders live — we get them all.
Disposal of expired/damaged items
As we work, we'll flag expired or damaged items for your decision: expired paint (oil-based paint is hazardous waste — we'll tell you where the nearest hazardous waste drop-off is), broken tools (recyclable at scrap metal), expired gardening chemicals (hazardous waste), broken bikes (recyclable), mouse-damaged cardboard (general waste). We don't dispose of items ourselves (you decide what to bin) — but we'll bag up what you flag and leave it by the bin. Hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, batteries) we'll bag separately and tell you where to take it. We never put hazardous waste in general waste — that's a criminal offence.
Add-ons available on any visit: oven cleaning, fridge clean-out, inside cabinets, laundry folding, ironing, pet area sanitisation, window interiors, and more — all bookable from your client portal.
From quote to first clean in 48 hours.
No pushy sales calls. No multi-week onboarding. Just a clear, four-step path to a cleaner home.
Book the garage add-on
Add garage cleaning to your deep clean, spring clean, or book as a standalone service. Specify garage size (single, double, or larger) and condition (lightly used, mid-condition, or 'hasn't been cleaned in 10 years'). We'll quote the time (typically 2-4 hours) and confirm. Pre-visit reminder sent 24 hours before, with the crew's photo and ETA.
Crew arrives & scope walk-through
Crew arrives at the scheduled time. Walk-through to confirm scope and any items you'd rather we didn't touch (classic car, vintage tools, paint tins you want to keep). H&S check — we'll flag any obvious hazards (asbestos garage roof if pre-2000, leaking chemicals, exposed wiring). We bring all chemistry, degreasers, deck brush, squeegee, HEPA vacuum, tarpaulin for item placement, disposal bags. You just open the garage door.
Floor, shelves, tools, doors, corners
Crew works through the garage: floor swept and HEPA-vacuumed, then degreased and scrubbed. Shelves and workbench emptied one at a time, wiped, items wiped before replacement. Tools degreased, dried, oiled to prevent rust. Garage door tracks vacuumed, wiped, lubricated. Cobwebs removed from every corner, ceiling, light fixture. Windows cleaned if present. Expired/damaged items flagged for your decision. The whole add-on takes 2-4 hours.
Walk-through & sign-off
Crew lead walks you through the cleaned garage. Floor visibly cleaner, oil stains reduced or eliminated. Shelves and workbench wiped. Tools degreased. Door tracks cleaned. Cobwebs gone. Any missed spot? Re-cleaned immediately. Disposal list handed over (you decide what to bin, we'll tell you where hazardous waste goes). Photo summary uploaded to your client portal. 100% re-clean guarantee — if you spot anything within 48 hours, we'll come back and re-clean it free.
The standards that earned 6,200 five-star reviews.
Six commitments we make to every recurring client — written into your service agreement, not just our marketing.
Floor degrease — oil stains gone
Garage floor swept, HEPA-vacuumed, degreased with alkaline chemistry. Oil stains (typically near the engine bay and where wheels sit) pre-treated with concentrated degreaser, contact time 10-15 minutes, agitated with a deck brush. Tyre marks agitated. Antifreeze stains treated with absorbent granules first, then degreased. Whole floor scrubbed and squeegee-dried. Result: floor visibly cleaner, oil stains reduced or eliminated, slip risk reduced. The floor is the most visible part of a garage — we make it look like a floor again.
Tools degreased & rust-prevented
Hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers) degreased with solvent-based chemistry, wiped dry, light coating of food-safe oil applied to carbon steel to prevent rust. Power tool exteriors wiped (damp cloth only — never spray near vents or motors). Power tool cords wiped, inspected for damage (we'll flag any frayed cord — electrical risk). Tool chest drawers emptied, wiped, replaced. Gardening tools cleaned of soil, blades wiped with oily cloth to prevent rust. Your tools will work better and last longer.
Every shelf and workbench wiped
Shelves and workbench emptied one at a time, items placed on a clean tarpaulin. Shelf surfaces wiped with low-VOC chemistry. Underside of shelves (cobweb zone) wiped. Workbench top degreased (solvent for oil and grease, alkaline for general grime). Workbench drawers emptied, wiped, replaced. Pegboard wiped (front and back where accessible). Items wiped before replacement (greasy tools, dusty paint tins, gardening chemical bottles). Items grouped logically. The difference is visible — a tidy garage is a usable garage.
Garage door tracks cleaned & lubricated
Garage door tracks vacuumed with a soft brush attachment — dust and debris in tracks causes jerky door operation. Tracks wiped with dry cloth. Rollers wiped. Hinges wiped. Light silicone-based lubricant applied to rollers and hinges (not oil — oil attracts dust and goes tacky). Torsion spring inspected (we'll flag wear but never touch the spring — extreme tension, only a qualified garage door engineer should adjust). Manual up-and-over door mechanism wiped. Electric door opener exterior wiped (never touch the electrics). Your garage door will work smoother and quieter.
Cobweb removal from every corner
Cobwebs removed from every corner, ceiling, light fixture, top of shelves, behind stored items. We use a telescopic cobweb brush (extends to 4m) for high corners. Ceiling wiped where accessible (especially around light fixtures — fly and moth debris accumulates). Light fixtures wiped (switch off at the consumer unit first — never clean a live light fixture). Window sills wiped. Air vents vacuumed and wiped. The corners are where the spiders live — we get them all. The garage will feel cleaner the moment you walk in.
Hazardous waste handled properly
As we work, we'll flag expired paint (oil-based paint is hazardous waste), expired gardening chemicals (hazardous waste), old batteries (hazardous waste), and other items that can't go in general waste. We'll bag them separately and tell you where the nearest hazardous waste drop-off is (typically your local council recycling centre). We never put hazardous waste in general waste — that's a criminal offence under the Hazardous Waste (Scotland) Regulations. We'll also flag recyclable items (scrap metal, recyclable plastic, cardboard) and bag them for your recycling bin. The right waste in the right place.

Loved by Scottish households.
“Garage hadn't been cleaned in 8 years — concrete floor was black with oil, tools rusty, cobwebs everywhere. Maundy Clean did the add-on alongside my spring clean. 4 hours, two operatives. Floor degreased (oil stains mostly gone), tools degreased and oiled, shelves wiped, door tracks cleaned and lubricated. The garage door sounds quieter already. I can actually park the car in there again. £88 well spent.”
“I use the garage as a pottery studio — needed it properly cleaned before I could set up my wheel. Maundy Clean did the garage add-on. Floor scrubbed (clay dust gone), shelves emptied and wiped, tools degreased, cobwebs gone. They even flagged a leak from the garage roof (I had no idea). The space feels like a studio now, not a dumping ground. Booking annually from now on.”
“Inherited a grimy garage when we bought the house. Maundy Clean did the garage add-on alongside the move-in clean. Floor degreased (the previous owner must have rebuilt an engine in there), shelves wiped, tools degreased. They flagged 4 tins of expired oil-based paint (hazardous waste) and told me where to take them. Hazardous waste handled properly. Top-tier service.”
