Clean clinics heal faster. Patients notice.

Private clinics are not general offices — they're healthcare environments with regulatory cleaning requirements. Aesthetics clinics (injectables, lasers, skin treatments), physiotherapy clinics (treatment tables, equipment, high-touch surfaces), podiatry clinics (drill aerosols, blood-borne pathogen risk), allied health clinics (psychology, dietetics — lower clinical intensity but still healthcare-standard). Our clinic cleaning team is HTM 01-05 aware, CQC-ready, and trained in clinical hygiene protocol. EN 14476 virucidal chemistry for treatment zones, colour-coded equipment, single-use cloths for clinical surfaces, blood-borne pathogen protocol. £5m public liability. References from clinic clients available on request.

What this service is

More than just a tidy-up.

A genuine baseline reset for your home, delivered by people who actually know it.

Private clinics are healthcare environments — they have regulatory cleaning requirements that general office cleaners don't understand. Aesthetics clinics (Botox, fillers, laser, skin treatments) require HTM 01-05 aware cleaning in treatment zones — blood and bodily fluid protocol, single-use cloths, EN 14476 virucidal chemistry, sharps disposal. Physiotherapy clinics (treatment tables, equipment, high-touch surfaces) require disinfection between every patient — alcohol wipes for face-down rest surfaces, EN 14476 for treatment tables. Podiatry clinics (drill aerosols, nail dust, blood-borne pathogen risk) require specialist aerosol control and blood-borne pathogen protocol. Allied health clinics (psychology, dietetics, speech therapy) require healthcare-standard hygiene but lower clinical intensity. Each clinic type has different priorities — we tailor the protocol to your specialty.

Our clinic cleaning protocol follows HTM 01-05 (Health Technical Memorandum 01-05: Decontamination in primary care dental practices) where applicable, CQC (Care Quality Commission) requirements for registered clinics, and HSE HSG272 (biological agents) where biohazard risk exists. Treatment zones cleaned with EN 14476 virucidal chemistry (proven against enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, bacteria, fungi, bloodborne pathogens including HIV, Hepatitis B/C, MRSA). Single-use cloths for clinical surfaces — never reusable cloths that could cross-contaminate between patients. Colour-coded equipment (red for toilet, blue for clinical, green for kitchen). Sharps containers checked and replaced when three-quarters full. Blood and bodily fluid spill protocol. operatives uniformed, photo-ID badged, DBS/PVG-checked.

We work for private clinics across Scotland — aesthetics clinics (Botox, fillers, laser hair removal, skin treatments), physiotherapy and sports injury clinics, podiatry and chiropody clinics, allied health clinics (psychology, dietetics, speech therapy), private GP practices, IVF and fertility clinics, weight management clinics, vein clinics. Each environment has different priorities — aesthetics clinics need premium appearance alongside clinical hygiene, physio needs equipment disinfection, podiatry needs aerosol control, allied health needs general healthcare standard. We tailor the chemistry, the equipment, and the team to your specialty. CQC inspection-ready documentation maintained on-site. £5m public liability, increased to £10m for higher-risk clinics. References from clinic clients available on request.

What's included

Every visit, room by room.

A baseline reset of your home's high-traffic zones — refined after the first three cleans to match your priorities.

Treatment zone EN 14476 virucidal disinfection

Treatment zones (treatment rooms, treatment tables, examination couches) disinfected with EN 14476 virucidal chemistry between every patient and at end of day. Chemistry proven effective against enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, bacteria, fungi, bloodborne pathogens including HIV, Hepatitis B/C, MRSA. Applied by single-use cloth (never reusable cloths that could cross-contaminate). Contact time per manufacturer (typically 30-60 seconds for alcohol-based, 5 minutes for chlorine-based). Treatment tables wiped head-to-foot (clean to dirty). Pillow covers changed between patients. Privacy curtains cleaned monthly (or replaced if fabric). Sharps containers checked and replaced when three-quarters full.

Reception, waiting area & high-touch surfaces

Reception and waiting area cleaned to commercial standard with healthcare-tier disinfection. Reception desk, card terminal, pens, clipboards disinfected hourly (high-touch). Waiting area chairs disinfected daily (more often during flu season). Door handles, light switches, push plates disinfected hourly. Magazine racks emptied and disinfected weekly (magazines discarded if contaminated). Toys (if present in paediatric clinic) disinfected daily or removed entirely. Water dispenser sanitised weekly. Coffee station cleaned and sanitised daily. Floor (VCT, hardwood, carpet) cared for per floor type. Toilet cleaned and disinfected 2-3 times daily (more often in high-traffic clinic).

Blood & bodily fluid spill protocol

Blood and bodily fluid spill protocol. Operatives trained in HSE HSG272 biological agents protocol. Spill kit on every site: absorbent granules, disinfectant, scoop, biohazard bag, PPE. Spill response: PPE on (nitrile gloves, apron, eye protection), absorbent granules sprinkled on spill, wait 2 minutes for absorption, scoop into biohazard bag, disinfect area with EN 14476 virucidal chemistry, double-bag and consign as clinical waste. Operatives never use bare hands. Sharps (needles, scalpels) picked up with tongs and placed in sharps container. Blood-borne pathogen risk (HIV, Hepatitis B/C) — operatives HBV-vaccinated.

Sharps container management & clinical waste

Sharps containers (UN-approved, puncture-proof, colour-coded yellow) checked daily, replaced when three-quarters full. Never overfilled. Sealed and consigned as clinical waste under Hazardous Waste (Scotland) Regulations. Clinical waste (gloves, aprons, dressings, contaminated single-use items) bagged in UN3291 orange bags, consigned as clinical waste. Offensive waste (non-contaminated single-use items) bagged in yellow-and-black bags, consigned as offensive waste. Consignment notes issued per uplift, kept on file for 3 years per SEPA requirement. We coordinate with your licensed clinical waste carrier (initial, Stericycle, or equivalent). Documentation maintained audit-ready.

Colour-coded equipment — no cross-contamination

Strict colour-coded equipment protocol to prevent cross-contamination. Red equipment for toilets and washroom zones. Blue equipment for clinical treatment zones. Green equipment for kitchen and food preparation zones. Yellow equipment for isolation/infectious zones (if applicable). Separate mop buckets, separate cloths, separate chemistry per colour zone. Equipment stored in separate zones, never shared. Operatives trained in colour-coded protocol and observed during the first 4 weeks. Single-use cloths for clinical surfaces — never reusable cloths that could cross-contaminate between patients. CQC and HTM 01-05 specifically look for colour-coded protocol — we've never had a finding.

CQC-ready documentation pack

Documentation pack maintained on-site and CQC inspection-ready: cleaning schedule (per zone, per day, per operative), COSHH data sheets for all chemistry, EN 14476 virucidal efficacy data, colour-coded protocol, blood and bodily fluid spill protocol, sharps container log, clinical waste consignment notes, operative training records (HTM 01-05, HSE HSG272, blood-borne pathogen, infection control), DBS/PVG checks, £5m public liability certificate, £10m employer's liability certificate. Cleaning log signed at every visit. Monthly review with the practice manager. Quarterly review with the lead clinician. CQC inspection supported without a documentation failure.

Add-ons available on any visit: oven cleaning, fridge clean-out, inside cabinets, laundry folding, ironing, pet area sanitisation, window interiors, and more — all bookable from your client portal.
