Every kitchen cupboard emptied one at a time, interior surfaces wiped with food-safe chemistry (low-VOC, no perfume, no taint — safe for food contact after rinse). Shelf edges where crumbs collect. Back walls where spice and oil splatter land. Top of the cabinet (dust and grease build-up). Underside of upper cabinets (sticky residue from cooking steam). Door interiors (especially near the hob). Hinges wiped. Magnetic catches wiped. Everything goes back in neatly — we'll group similar items and face labels forward if you want.

Drawer runners collect crumbs, dust, and sticky residue — they're the reason your drawers start to stick. We vacuum each runner with a soft brush attachment, wipe with food-safe chemistry, dry thoroughly, and apply a food-safe dry lubricant (silicone-based, not oil — oil goes rancid). Drawer fronts (the part that faces out) wiped down, handles sanitised (high-touch). Drawer interiors emptied and wiped. Cutlery trays lifted, cleaned underneath, replaced. Utensil dividers cleaned. The difference is real — your drawers will glide again.

Under-sink zones (kitchen and bathroom) are the most under-cleaned surfaces in any home. Cleaning product bottles leave chemical rings, slow drips accumulate, dust turns tacky, and the cabinet floor can develop mould in damp homes. We empty the cabinet, wipe every bottle (yes, every bottle — they're germy), sanitise the cabinet floor and walls with EN 14476 virucidal chemistry, dry thoroughly, and replace everything. Leak check — we'll flag any slow drip from the trap or supply pipes. Mould check — we'll flag any mould and recommend the right next step.

Bathroom cabinets collect sticky medicine-bottle rings, talcum powder drift, moisture-stained shelf liners, and expired products. We empty the cabinet, check expiry dates on medicines and skincare (we'll flag anything past its best — you decide what to bin), wipe every surface with low-VOC chemistry, clean the mirror interior (if mirrored), replace or refresh shelf liner if you supply it, and replace everything neatly. Medicine cabinet lock checked (if applicable). First-aid kit restocking list provided if you want (we don't supply the items, just the list).

Shelf liner (the wipe-clean film on cupboard shelves) takes a beating — it curls at the edges, stains from spills, and traps crumbs underneath. We remove the old liner, clean the bare shelf, and apply fresh liner (£4/roll supplied, or use your own). We use non-adhesive ribbed liner (won't slip, won't leave sticky residue when you want to change it) — typically cream or clear. We can also use anti-microbial liner for under-sink zones (silver-ion treated, £6/roll). All edges trimmed neatly, all corners smoothed down. Liner change is the cabinet equivalent of fresh bed linen — the difference is immediate.

As we empty each cabinet, we check expiry dates on tins, jars, packets, medicines, and skincare. We'll flag anything past its best (you decide what to bin — we don't dispose of medicines, but we'll tell you where the nearest pharmacy take-back is). We'll group similar items together (tins with tins, packets with packets), face labels forward, and tidy as we go. This is the part most clients love — a freshly organised cabinet is genuinely satisfying.
